One day I went out and decided that what I really wanted to do that day was buy my first camera, my Canon T3i, this was a choice that changed my life. that day was January 24th 2012, it's gone almost everywhere with me since then. It's been stolen twice, sent in for repairs, been inside nuclear reactors, a nuclear missile silo, dozens of drains (sewer, CSO, Etc.), the tops of numerous buildings, and all manner of abandoned buildings. I now have more camera's than I care to keep an up to date list on, I list which Camera/Film I use for each photo.
as for what I shoot, i try not to limit myself. if it catches my eye I will spend as much time as it takes (or until the shot's gone) to get what I'm looking for. at the end of the day, I suppose you could say my work documents my life, as it's mostly just spontaneous.
I'm currently living in Seattle, Washington. I simply love it here, the constant rain keeps everything looking like it's been over saturated. they designed the city to look better when it's being rained on, they did an amazing job of it as well.
